Dick Bulkowski, Director
(616) 451-4215

Dick began as Steepletown’s Director in August, 1993. He has a MA in Theology from the Oblate School of Theology, and worked a couple years as a Community Organizer for two Grand Rapids neighborhood associations before coming to Steepletown. His interest in community-based work encouraged him to run for the Kent County Commission in 2003, where he has served at the Commissioner for the 15th district since that time. Dick is married to Isabel and they have six children. “I feel privileged to be in a position that can restore and sustain hope in people’s lives, particularly this West Side community.”
